1st advice post:

HERE I AM WITH SAMANTHA AND JADE WHILE I AM TYPING THIS. HERE ARE SOME TIPS FOR DOLL HAIR CARE.

The first thing I am going to go over is what kind of brush you should use with your doll. For AG, use a wire wig brush. They have these on the AG site, but they are $7!!! That is VERY expensive for a brush. Shown below, I got this pincushion Wire wig brush for about $4 at Sally’s Beauty Supply. 

If you don’t have one, though, you can use a basic brush like this. But make sure that it has an air puff. If it doesn’t have a puffy, then DO NOT use it on AG dolls.

However, you can use a brush without a puffy on off-brand dolls because their hair is threaded into their head. You can use wire-wig brushes on off-brand dolls because you can use them on thick hair and off-brand dolls do have thick hair and LOTS of it. you can Use a regular brush, though.

About the post...

A couple of days ago, I posted about the Our Generation Dolls on sale at target, and i went to target myself to buy one. I then realized that these are very low-quality dolls. Their arms are squishy and you can bend their fingers completely backward, and the hair was crusty and coarse. I ended up getting a different doll instead , but i am not too happy. The bargain doll that i got a couple of weeks ago (for $13) was a LOT higher quality than those dolls on sale for $30. I still like the brand and you should not discontinue buying from this line. OMG I just got a great deal a couple of weeks ago:

This is an 18" Our Generation Doll that i found on the sale shelf at Target. This was the previous year's doll that didn't sell. She was marked down, and on sale for 30% off of that, plus an extra 5% off that my dad got when we used the target coupon. I ended gettting her for $13.00.  Her hair is beautiful to style, and on top of what is shown in the picture, she also has a purse that is the same print as the skirt, and an adorable magenta shrug. This was truly a great deal!
